[rt-users] RT 3.8.2 compatibility with IE8

When we use RT interface to reply or comment on a ticket, the text of the
mail received by the users has spaces inserted in between. e.g
<QUOTE>Please note that your Serv ice Requ est Number 2-33155250 has been
upda  ted. </QUOTE>

This does not happen when using IE7. Any clues on how to resolve this issue?
