Regarding your problem : search or a file named
(/usr/share/perl5/|dirs revelant to your distro)HTML/Mason/Exceptions.pm

if no such file:
    type perl -eshell -MCPAN
    and in the prompt of the shell
    type install HTML::Mason::Exceptions


I have the feeling you did not make a make fixdeps from source.
