[rt-users] Is Shredder still the way to delete old tickets?

I'd like to archive all tickets that are older than 1 year in all queues except one, which should never be archived.

3.8.* docs suggest using shredder to get rid of old tickets, but that's not quite the same as an archive.

Suggestions?
