'Fraid not. The Mac is a laptop, and I've tried it from home (NAT) and
from work (filtered, but routeable IP)... in neither case is there a
proxy, transparent or otherwise. The Debian machine is on yet another
network, where there is a transparent proxy, but it only traps HTTP
traffic, not HTTPS.
