A big thank you from me too, both for you past work and for clearly
stating that the end is nigh - makes planning the migration to
something else much less stressful.

I have toyed with git...I wonder what will work best for my vendor
branch strategy of maintaing my Drupal multisite install...time for
some experimentation :)

Although it was mostly the superior merge that won me over from svn,
if svn merge is getting better maybe it's time to move back to svn.

I'd be interested in hearing how other people deal with the change :)
