[rt-devel] Can I use bigint?

I noticed that the PostgreSQL schema uses regular int (4 bytes, signed)
 for the id fields.  If I am concerned about running out of ticket ids, can
I change that to bigint (8 bytes, signed)  without breaking anything?  Has
anybody tried it?
