Hello,
I have been testing RT, and have a small question.
Under Configuration -> Queues -> Watchers, you can configure Cc and
Adminstrative CC watchers. The user in question has both Watcher and
WatcherAsAdminCC privs.
However, I cannot seem to make any changes here take affect.
If I look at a ticket, it has no CCs or AdminCCs listed, nor they
receive any comments. My scripts are setup using the defaults:
OnCreate AutoreplyToRequestors with template Autoreply
OnCreate NotifyAdminCcs with template Transaction
OnComment NotifyAdminCcsAsComment with template AdminComment
OnComment NotifyOtherRecipientsAsComment with template Correspondence
OnCorrespond NotifyAllWatchers with template Correspondence
OnCorrespond NotifyOtherRecipients with template Correspondence
When do changes take affect? Is it:
- immediately for all new and old tickets when updating this
screen.
- or when a new ticket is created?
currently, neither seems to be the case.
Is there something else I need to do that I might have missed?
Also, I am trying to work out what the scripts do. Most of them
seem to be obvious, but ones like "NotifyOtherRecipientsAsComment"
aren't. What is an "Other Recipient"? How does this defer
from "NotifyOtherRecipients?".
Oh, can you please send CCs to me, so I dont accidently miss
