Thats exactly what I'm seeing when I changed the value via the Basics (? - 
I have german menus :) menu.

But:
the selection box is *not* changed, still highlighting the old value. And 
if you just "show" (or display) the ticket, there are TWO values for the 
"select-one" displayed.

I can provide you with a login to my test instance of RT and we can meet in
