[rt-users] Non Latin-1 search problem solution

Hi All!

RT is known can not search in non Latin-1 character set.
See bug 5403.

The main problem is the bug in DBI->quote method. See comments in the
source files of DBI. Nevertheless the problem can be solved by patching
SearchBuider_0.99 using  the patch in attachment.

The patch has been tested under  following configuration

RT-3.0.10
perl 5.8.3
Mysql 4.0.18
mod-perl-1
Apache 1.3.29

Jesse, please be so kind as to put the modification above into RT core
code.
