[rt-users] Whats the default encoding on attachments in RT?

I'm not sure if this is and RT issue or not, but I'll ask anyway.

When I attach a document to a ticket in RT 3.06 it appears as gibberish
when it is received on the other end.

Both Open Office and MS Word ask what type of encoding I would like to
use to open the file with.

Is this something that is set in RT configs??
