[rt-users] question about logged in user display

Just wondering if there is a config option to display the real name or
nickname instead of the userid. I have set up RT to use the lan id's and
they are pretty cryptic and mostly numeric. Hard to recognize who updated a
ticket, or owns etc. Would be nice to display instead the real name or nick
name instead of the userid, or in addition to the userid.
 
Is this option available? Maybe near future?
 
Do I just go in a mod the current code to provide this for now?
