Validation of CFs on SelfService has never been in RT, but it's now in
the current svn, see:
http://rt3.fsck.com/Ticket/Display.html?id=10936&user=guest&pass=guest
if you're running 3.8.1, you can grab the svn commit r15778 and apply it
to your installation.
