rtx-shredder 0.07 is actually 4+ years old and you shouldn't be using
it against 3.8.10.

Unfortunately, a code cleanup in 3.8.10 broke what you're trying to
do.  There's a patch on 3.8-trunk which will be released in 3.8.11

You can download it and apply it manually with:
