that's off topic for this list, but no, newaliases exists and works also
with postfix if you set variable alias_database correctly in your
postfix main.cf. For example:

# Where postfix local find aliases
alias_maps = hash:/etc/aliases
# What format:files should be updated when running newaliases
alias_database = hash:/etc/aliases
