But, the 'A'dd operation *will* recurse, and then thousands of kittens 
will die! :0

Seriously, I was thinking that if, and only if, one of the '?' lines is 
changed to 'A' and that line is a directory, then the code should go 
through the process of 'A'dding any files and then present the commit 
message prompt again, with all of the newly added files listed (and the 
previously typed commit message).  This would prevent someone from 
accidentally adding files they didn't expect because the 'A'dd itself 
recursed...
