So far so good... with pipelining turned off I am able to sync  
geronimo/server... :-)

I've yet to have time to actually setup a local copy and test that  
merging works... but hopefully I will soon.  There is a huge  
reorganization effort to be started to clean up the geronimo server/ 
trunk tree... and my fingers are crossed that svk will do the trick  
(with my eyes closed) ;-)
