For this part, surf yourself over to
http://search.cpan.org/dist/DBD-Ingres/ and do one or both of the
following: 1) email the author, 2) file a bug report and include your
patch.  I suspect the former will yield better results given the bug
reports look very old and stale, yet there have been releases within
the last few months of the driver.
