[rt-users] Thoughts to ponder

Hi!
I'd like to get your input on trying to compile
a repository of add-ons as well as "nifty" stuff found on
the rt-users list. Having used RT for a while and done quite a few
modifications I can see that there is a big demand for all of the
nice add-ons made - like the great Stats package or all of Bruces's
mods
but - also following the lists, most people don't seem to want to
base64 decode the mailing lists, and the same requests come up
over and over again.
I think we'd benefit from something like the Netsaint add-ons or
the BigBrother add-on pages or even something Freshmeat similar?
Being a very big fan of FreeBSD - I propose a BSD similar model -
everything
that goes in (As opposed to a linux model) will be "tried and verified"
- For untried patches I would not mind adding a "Try it yourself area?"
I think I can get space and some BW from my employer, and I was
thinking maybe a simple Slash like system to get everything uploaded and
somewhat documented?
Or should it just simply all be put on sourceforge?
/JE
