[rt-users] User Selection (RT 3.0.1)

Hi,

I'm a bit new to RT, but having RT'd the FM and indeed the FAQ, but can't 
see this mentioned.

I'm having trouble searching for users. When I go to Configuration -> Users 
-> Select a User, and type (for example) 'dan' into 'User Id Contains' I 
get no results back. This happens whatever criteria I select, and whether 
or not I check the 'disabled users' box. I have four privileged users, and 
an unprivileged user.

My system is as follows:
RH9 (thanks to Harald Wagener's research)
MySQL 4.0.12
FastCGI 2.4.0

I'd be grateful for some pointers as to where to start looking for a solution.
