I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, and I'm not sure if you
understand what that link does. Normally RT searches are done with
post, which means there's no useful URL. The "bookmarkable URL" link
is just a link to the current search with GET parameters, such that
you could bookmark the page. It doesn't do any fancy javascript tricks
to bookmark it for you.
