Hi all,

I'm putting in a new install of RT 3.6.0 on Fedora Core 4. The Fedora
is very generic; I haven't done hardly any customization of the
defaults. mysql 4.1.6, apache 2.0.54, perl 5.8.6.

The installation seemed to go fine (after I tracked down all the perl
dependencies) but I am now getting this error in the apache log when I
visit the RT URL. (Browser shows a 500 error)

-------
DBI connect('dbname=rt3;host=localhost','rt_user',...) failed: Access
denied for user 'rt_user'@'localhost' (using password: YES) at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6/DBIx/SearchBuilder/Handle.pm line 108

[Thu Jul 13 16:26:52 2006] [error] [client 10.0.2.14] Connect Failed
Access denied for user 'rt_user'@'localhost' (using password: YES)\n at
/opt/rt3/lib/RT.pm line 176\n
-------

I did keep the default database username of rt_user but I changed the
password. I've verified that the password I gave on the configure
command line did show up in the /opt/rt3/etc versions of the config
files. The database itself seems to be fine, as I can connect to it and
list tables etc. using mysql from the command line with the user &
password that are in the config files.

I must be missing something really simple, but I can't figure out what.
  Any suggestions?
