[rt-users] Backing up RT's configuration files?

Yes.  See `dpkg -L request-tracker4` for all the files the Debian
package installed, and if there are any directories you missed.

With the official packages this is slightly easier since everything
lives under one directory (/opt/rt4).

/etc/aliases?

Don't forget your crontab for RT.
