[svk-devel] Porting SVK

Suppose I'm porting SVK to another language (java), and I already have 
a complete working subversion API (which I do: http://tmate.org/svn). 
Is there any documentation, or any other material I should browse 
before delving into source code?

>From what I can guess, the important points will be SVN::Mirror and 
SVK::XD, but specification documents or any other help would be greatly 
appreciated before I try to decypher the perl source code :)
